“Super delightful to have you as one of my first–ever TAs here at the U! So kind and patient. At the beginning of the semester, I worked with My to help improve my discussion assignment writing and she created a space that felt very comfortable to not know things and be able to learn! Always looked forward to her discussion section.”
“She was so welcoming and non–judgmental. She kept the discussion funny and engaging, which encouraged me to speak up more as well.”
“My is a great TA! I emailed her frequently for assistance throughout the semester, and she was always supportive. She offered great feedback on my papers that I felt helped me with the process of writing the next ones. After class as well, I felt I could always go chat with her or ask her clarifying questions. Really, she is sweet and I can tell she has a great understanding of the material.”
I give free mentorship to international, underprivileged students, students from minority and less supported backgrounds, low-income students, and first-generation students.
